Abaraxx is an otherworldly spirit with significant, ill-defined magic powers who opposes evil at the behest of Zongar the Miracle Man, by which I mean Zongar summons Abaraxx from an amulet and tells him what to do. The ethical waters seem a bit murky here. “Magcial summoning” sounds like a pretty euphemism for “slavery”, and it seems like Abaraxx does all the good and gets none of the credit. He looks like some kind of methane monster, though, so left to his own devices who knows what side he’d take.
