If Iron Man were a team of agents, techs and support staff funded by the Soviet government he would be a little more believable and he would be a lot more like the Rocket Red Brigade. The Brigade was formed to defend the Soviet Union against metahuman threats using alien technology. Since the end of the cold war they have fallen on hard times. Fingers crossed for cold war 2, guys!
