Hale doesn’t exactly meet the criteria of superhero but he certainly runs in the same circles as those who do. As an investigative reporter for the newspaper the Herald, Hale relentlessly strives to expose corruption and espionage and he does it without a costume or moniker. He does, however, has access to invisibility pills, which gives him an unfair professional edge and definitely puts him in metahuman territory.
