Pulsar is a super identity that never seems to hang on too long in the Marvel universe. But it’s not for a lack of trying.

The earliest seems to be the Galadorian Space Knight. When this Pulsar first appeared in the 80s he had already been active for many years hunting aliens through space. Since then a couple of others have ended up merged with the armor but since they all look exactly alike, they all count as one.

Monica Rambeau, once Captain Marvel and formerly Photon, tried on the name for a time in the 90s. Like her various other monikers this one didn’t stick and she moved on.

If you head into the future and take a hard left there is yet another to be discovered. Somewhere out there is a grim alternate timeline where there is a mutant terrorist named Pulsar. He uses bio-electric blasts to zap humans, but he doesn’t get to do it for long.

In the regular timeline, the Imperial Guard of the alien Shi’ar empire has a super-powered soldier named Pulsar. Like the Space Knight, this Pulsar seems to be more of a role filled by different individuals as they wear out. It’s hard to tell; they wear masks and they don’t get Earth-side too often. He/they are the one to be currently using the name so they get the feature pic.
