A representation of an Arthur C. Clarke truism, Abra Kadabra uses technology from the 64th century to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks that look like magic to regular modern folk. Teleportation, illusions, conjuring matter of different types, and apparently time travel are all accomplished at will. Apparently he later gains actual magic powers, although I wonder what 20th century magic does that 64th century technology does not, and if magic is so much better why they don’t use it in the future.
Be that as it may, the comic version of Abra (or Mr. Kadabra) is one of the Flash’s most long-term foes even if he does clothe himself from a Halloween costume store. The latest TV version dresses more casually but looks like he brought advanced tech from the future to review restaurants.
