Marvel’s most recent Abyss is still new enough that her background hasn’t congealed in the zeitgeist of wikia. She’s an activist or a villain or a former villain or something who turns into gas, just like an abyss, I guess. Or maybe her name comes from the abyss of addiction this picture suggests that she is circling. She also seems to be a member of some color-code brand name modern division of the Avengers, but of course, so is everyone else.
