Little is known about Abyss from City of Heroes. She is a professional bounty hunter specializing in heroes, and a successful one; or so she claims. Despite her CV, in practice she seems long on reasons others need to chase targets and short on results. She may just be some chick in a beret and cargo pants with a good PR firm. If her bio is truthful it is still unclear exactly how she brings down her targets, but she is not above using advanced tech weapons when they’re available.
“They wanted to hire me to take out the hero that’s attacking them, but since they don’t know which of the fifty thousand heroes in Paragon City it is, I told them I’d have to pass the job on to someone else. That someone is you.”
