The Champions is the superhero group that is the cornerstone of the role-playing game and the universe built around it. Without a movie or mainstream comic book they may not have the name recognition of the Avengers of the Justice League but in their own universe they are the first line of defense for Millenium City and, by extension, the world. Also referred to as the League of Champions.
