And if push comes to shove the ghost of his ancestor is his own personal dues ex machina, popping up out the mists of time to free the Yank from whatever death trap he ends up in. The ghost can also let you fly, carry off enemy submarines and pretty much any other damn near impossible task, as long as it’s in the name of democracy.
